Living Well With Chronic Illnesses
Living Well is a six-week curriculum developed by Stanford University to help individuals learn tools and techniques to better manage their chronic illnesses.Call 687- 6234 for information in English.

Each participant receives a copy of the book "Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions, and relaxation exercises on audiotape or CD. Also available for participants, childcare allowance and/or LTD bus tokens, upon request.
This course was designed for people with different chronic health problems to attend together. The class is facilitated by two trained leaders, one or both of whom are non-health professionals and who have chronic illnesses. Examples of chronic conditions are diabetes, arthritis, fibromialgia, and heart disease.
Classes are available through United Way of Lane County for adults who speak English or Spanish.
