Want to Help?

By aligning resources and volunteers toward a coordinated community approach, we can provide better care, to more people, at less cost.

  • Community Healthcare Fund
The PacificSource Charitable Foundation made a generous donation to stimulate the formation of the Community Healthcare Fund to align investments across Lane County that expand access to healthcare and support the priority projects of the 100% Access Initiative.

The Fund was created to leverage financial resources towards a coordinated approach toward improving access to timely and affordable healthcare for the uninsured and underinsured of Lane County.
  • Volunteer Opportunities
There are many ways that you can help people in our community get access to healthcare, including:
    • Volunteer at a safety net clinic or mental health organization

    • Assist a family with an Oregon Health Plan application

    • Offer to participate at Project Homeless Connect on February 7, 2008
    • Help at the hospitals or a clinic to connect individuals with low-cost or free medications

    • Volunteer at an outreach, health services, or dental clinic event
    • Complete training to become a group leader for a chronic disease self management class

Whatever these dedicated community leaders come up with will be 1,000 percent better than what the federal government is prepared to offer Lane County’s uninsured residents today.
